Anna Magdalena Schessl
After completing my Master’s in Biochemistry at the Technical University of Munich, I joined the Department of Applied Tumor Biology in 2023. My doctoral research is centered on developing a novel therapeutic strategy for solid tumors using demethylating drugs, integrated with cutting-edge imaging techniques to visualize treatment effects. This project is conducted in collaboration with the Radiology Department at the DKFZ. My aim is to establish a holistic therapeutic and imaging approach that facilitates the early detection of treatment responses and ongoing monitoring of treatment efficacy.
