Martin Paulikat
I joined the Department of Applied Tumor Biology in 2023 as part of the DICOL project. Before that, I studied Cognitive Science at the University of Tübingen, where I earned my Master’s degree.
Within the project, I am pursuing my PhD in cooperation with the Institute of Computer Science. My research focuses on developing AI models that support the diagnosis of cervical cancer across the screening process. The main goal of my work is a diagnostic tool that detects high-grade cervical lesions in colposcopy and histology images, designed for use in resource-limited countries where HPV infection and cervical cancer remain a major health burden.
