Dr. Lennart Nauschütte

I am a medical doctor and researcher focused on using artificial intelligence to improve cervical cancer screening. I studied medicine at University of Münster and completed my doctoral thesis at ATB, developing an AI algorithm that automatically segments and classifies precancerous lesions in colposcopy images.

Having worked during my studies in hospitals in Rwanda, Malawi, South Africa, India, and Vietnam, I am particularly interested in how AI can strengthen cancer screening and diagnosis in resource-limited settings in low- and middle-income countries.
