Cristina Taliento

I am a gynecologist and Clinical Research Fellow in Gynecologic Oncology at the University Hospital of Heidelberg, Germany, and a PhD candidate in a joint doctoral program between the University Hospital of Ferrara, Italy, and KU Leuven, Belgium, associated with the International Ovarian Tumour Analysis (IOTA) Group. I previously completed a Research Fellowship at the European Institute of Oncology in Milan.

Within the Department of Applied Tumor Biology at Heidelberg University Hospital, my research focuses on clinical and translational studies in gynecological cancers, integrating molecular biomarkers, liquid biopsy, epigenetic profiling, and computational pathology approaches to improve tumor characterization, risk stratification, and personalized treatment strategies.
